B : That’s good. I’ll take a single room then.

A : Would you like a beach view room or garden view room?

B : Do they have different rates?

A : Yes, ma’am. The beach view room is $25 more expensive than the garden view room.

B : If that so, I guess I’ll choose the beach view room.

A : Fine. So, you’re making a reservation for today, one single room with a beach view room. Whose name should I put the reservation under?

B : The reservation is under the name of Daisy Claire. And here’s my credit card.

A : Fine. Your room is number 101. Here is the electronic key. The bellboy will bring you to your room and carry your luggage. And here’s your credit card, ma’am.

B : Thank you very much.

A : You’re welcome, ma’am. Enjoy your stay.

·         A : Welcome to Florida Hotel. How may I help you?

B : I’ve already made a reservation about a week ago, for February 1^st until 4^th . But there’s a change of plan, so I’d to switch that reservation to February 9^th . Is that possible?

A : Please, wait a moment. I’ll check the reservation book. I’m afraid we’re fully booked on that date you mentioned.

B : Oh my! Is there any room available around that date?

A : We have 2 rooms available on February 10^th . Would you like to switch your reservation to that date?

B : On February 10^th it’s okay. Yes, I’ll switch it to that date.

A : Is the reservation still under the same name?

B : Yes, it’s still under my name, Vanessa Hudgens.

A : But we still need a confirmation.

B : Sure, I’ll send it via e-mail tomorrow. Is that okay?

A : Alright miss, that’s fine.

B : Hello, can we have the menu, please?

B : I’d like a cheese spaghetti, one medium size French fries, one large size lemon tea and one chocolate sundae.

A : Alright. That would be $10 . Is there anything else I can get you?

B : Oh yes, I forgot. I want a pancake and black coffee but wrap it up for me, please.

A : Okay sir, no problem. So, that would be $15.

B : Here’s the money.

A : And here’s your charge. Your order will be delivered to your table. Please wait a minute.

B : Okay, thank you.

B : Hello, can I see the menu, please?

A : Sure, here you go, ma’am.

B : What’s the ‘menu of the day’ for dinner tonight?

A : For tonight’s dinner we are serving the roasted chicken with spicy sauce and the special seafood. What dish would you like to order?

B : I’ll have roasted chicken with spicy sauce, an orange juice and a pancake for my desert.

A : Would you like some wine to go with that?

B : Yes, I choose white wine, please.

A : Of course. Your orders will be delivered in a minute.

·         A : Hi, Lily let’s go to the boutique store today.

B : No, I’m not in the mood to go out.

A : C’mon! They’re having a one day sale.

B : There’s no difference. The price would still be expensive anyway.

A : No, there’s a 70% discount for all items.

B : Are you serious??

A : Yes, I totally serious for this. I just read in the newspaper. It’s only for today. Do you want to miss it?

B : If what you’re saying is true, I’m definitely coming!
