Part of Speech

Hii pals, today I’d like show you about part of speech. As know there are many kind of Part of speech, and now let’s me give you more explaination. So, check it down pals. Happy Reading !! *XOXO*

Part of speech
 

“Parts of speech” are the basic types of words that English has. Ther are eeight parts of speech — verbs, nouns, pronouns, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections . and this We will add one more type: articles.
As you know it’s important to be able to recognize and identify the different types of words in English, so that you can understand grammar explanations and use the right word form in the right place. Check it in the table
 
 
Here more explation about each of Part of speech :
a.       Noun
 

Noun
is a naming word. It names a person, place, thing, idea, living creature, quality or action.examples : cowboy, restaurant, book, bhought, tree, smart, arrival. Nouns can be classified further as count nouns, which name anything that can be counted (four books, two continents, a few dishes, a dozen buildings pen, two bottle, spoon, desk, cup, television, chair, shoe, finger, flower, camera, stick, balloon,book, table, comb, etc.); mass nouns (or non-count nouns), which name something that can't be counted (water, air, energy, blood); and collective nouns, which can take a singular form but are composed of more than one individual person or items (jury, team, class, committee, herd). We should note that some words can be either a count noun or a non-count noun depending on how they're being used in a sentence.
1)      He got into trouble. (non-count).
2)      He had many troubles. (countable)
3)      Experience (non-count) is the best teacher.
4)       We had many exciting experiences (countable) in college
5)      Mika makes a cup of tea. (countable)

b.      Verb
 


Verb is a word which describes an action (doing something) or a state (being something).examples: walk, talk, think, believe, live, like, want. The verb is mportant because it’s the heart of a sentence - every sentence must have a verb for understanding the meaning of a sentence.

1.      The man walks in the garden, walk is the verb and the word which shows the action of the sentence.
2.      Merry is talking on the cellphone, even though the action doesn't show much activity, talking is the verb of the sentence.
3.      She is a smart girl, there is no action but a state of being expressed by the verb is. The word be is different from other verbs in many ways but can still be thought of as a verb.
 
 
c.       Adjective
 

Adjective is a word that describes a noun. It tells you something about the noun.
examples: big, yellow, thin, amazing, beautiful, quick, important
d.      Adverb
 

Adverb  is a word which usually describes a verb. It tells you how something is done. It may also tell you when or where something happened.
examples: slowly, intelligently, well, yesterday, tomorrow, here, everywhere
e.       Pronoun 
 

Pronoun is used instead of a noun, to avoid repeating the noun.
examples: I, you, he, she, it, we, they.
f.       Conjuntion 

Conjuntion joins two words, phrases or sentences together.
examples: but, so, and, because, or
g.      Preposition
Preposition usually comes before a noun, pronoun or noun phrase. It joins the noun to some other part of the sentence.
examples: on, in, by, with, under, through, at
h.      Interjection
Interjection is an unusual kind of word, because it often stands alone. Interjections are words which express emotion or surprise, and they are usually followed by exclamation marks.
examples: Ouch!, Hello!, Hurray!, Oh no!, Ha!
i.        Article
 

Article  is used to introduce a noun.
examples: the, a, an
