APOLOGIZE AND EXCUSES

 

·         A : Are you alright?

B : I’m fine.

A : I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings 2 days ago. I owe you an apology.

B : Okay then, apology accepted.

A : You’re not mad at me?

B : Not at all.

·         A : I’m really sorry for losing your ring.

B : Just forget it.

A : I said I was sorry. Please, accept my apologies.

B : Okay, I forgive you.

·         A : I feel guilty for the terrible things I’ve done.

B : It’s okay. But you have to promise to never do that again.

A : Sure, I promise to behave. Thanks.

SUGGESTION

 

·         A : Do you have any good suggestion for me?

B : What’s bothering you?

A : I have a date with Harry Styles on Saturday, but I don’t know what to wear. Actually, it’s my first date with him.

B : Well, where is he going to take you?

A : He’s taking me to the Italian Restaurant. So, I need a proper outfit.

B : Okay then, I suggest we go out for shopping to get you something nice.

A : Okay, thank you so much. You’re really kind.

·         A : I just offered as the secretary in the Production Company.

B : That’s great. You should take that job offer.

A : You think?

B : Yes. This is a great opportunity for you.

A : But, it means I have to move to another country. I don’t know anyone there.

B : Don’t worry, my cousin lives there. I can ask her to give you a hand, and I think you can stay at her place for a while, until you find your place.

A : Thanks a lot. How kind you are.

VISITING

 

·         A : Hello Alex, are you at home?

B : No, I’m actually on my way home right now, but I’ll be home in about 20 minutes.

A : Okay, I’ll come to your house after you arrived.

B : See you then.

·         A : Justin, I want to borrow your book. What time can I come to your house?

B : It’s up to you. I’ll be home all day.

A : How about this afternoon at 3 p.m. would you mind?

B : Not at all, see you later!

·         A : Will you be home on Thursday ?

B : I’m so sorry. I won’t be home. My parents and I are going to Chicago to see my grandfather.

A : So, when will you be home?

B : Maybe on next Monday I’ll be home. I’ll call you if I arrived.

A : Oh okay then.

COMPLAIN

 

·         A : I want to make a complain, let me see the manager.

B : I’m a manager, ma’am. Is there any problem?

A : Yes, I’m very disappointed with the service given here. I just asked her nicely for help and she replied in a very rude manner. Is this how you treat your customers?

B : We are terribly sorry for this inconvenient. Surely this is our fault.

A : I hope this kind of problem would never happen again.

·         A : May I help you, sir?

B : I came to make a complain.

A : What’s the problem?

B : I bought a bottle of milk here yesterday, but as I was about to drink it, it was already expired. I saw the sign in the top of the bottle cover before drinking it. If I didn’t see, I didn’t know what happen to me, surely it can poisoning other people.

A : We’re really sorry, sir. I will immediately check the other stocks. Meanwhile, we would surely take responsibility for this.

B : If that so, I want my money back.

A : Alright. Here’s your money, and please accept our apology.
